| Description: | Wings & Wheels will be back for a second year in 2012. It takes place on the Gig Harbor side of the Narrows Bridge, at the Tacoma Narrows Airport. It's an aviation event with a car and motorcycle show - featuring live entertainment, race cars, WWII B-17 Flying Fortress offering aircraft rides and tours, you can take helicopter rides, view amazing cars and aircraft, and see the Smoke 'N' Thunder Jet Dragster make a 300 mph run down the runway! Aircraft, both military and civilian, will FLY-IN and be on static display. You'll thrill to the roar of the engines as some fly over and you have the opportunity to see beautiful aircraft up close. This is an opportunity to rub shoulders with the pilots that will dazzle you on July 4 with their daring and precision flying skills. Vendors, military displays, and entertainment will be going on throughout the day too. | ||
