Dancing in on the heels of Christmas is the Bavarian Ice Fest. Our village continues the celebration of winter with this annual playtime full of activities and events for all ages, and hosted by the Leavenworth Chamber. Enjoy again our magical wonderland dressed in lights, with winter fun, games and fireworks.

A weekend grab bag of invigorating outdoor events includes, tug o' war, an ice cube scramble for kids six and under, the great Frisbee sweep, Relay Races, Iceberg Challenge Giant Slide, Fireworks, and Leavenworth's famous Smooshing Contest: a unique race peculiar to the Great Bavarian Ice Fest.
