| Description: | From Dia de los Muertos Website: Shakespeare Walla Walla presents the Second Annual "Dia de los Muertos" Festival at the Gesa Power House Theatre.
In the grand tradition of the colorful and vibrant Mexican "Day of the Dead" holiday, this community event celebrates Latino culture with live music and dance, kids' activities, food vendors, art and history, and maybe even a nod to Shakespeare.
Last year's festival drew 1500 people and featured a Steamroller Art Project led by Whitman College, traditional Dia de los Muertos altars created by local businesses, live music and entertainment throughout the weekend, and kids' crafts and activities.
