| Description: | The Ocean Shores Convention Center will host the 8th Annual Grays Harbor County Expo Memorial Day Weekend, May 22nd - 24th. You won't want to miss this multifaceted event which consists of the Grays Harbor Home Show, Oceans of Fine Arts, Roadside Chainsaw Carving Competition, Surf N Shine Car show, Tour de Shores and a Special Memorial Celebration. The Home Show features businesses showcasing the latest in home decor and home improvement ideas. What a great opportunity to find them all in a central location! The Art Expo features incredible artists from all over the Northwest. You are sure to be intrigued with a variety of juried art available to grace your home. The Roadside Chainsaw Carvers will be active in the parking lot, creating works of art for your lawn, garden or home. Auction will be held during the show. What will they create to intrigue you? The Local VFW will lead this years Memorial Service at 12:00, May 23rd, inside the Convention Center. What a great opportunity to commemorate a friend or family member. You will be able to post a note, picture or photo in their honor and to remind us all the true meaning of this holiday. Tour de Shores is a family fun ride or run to raise funding to clean coastal beaches. This is just the "tip of the iceberg" for this event. You will find free parking and free admission to everything, so be sure to put this event on your "must do list". | ||

| Entertainment | A crowd favorite event called "quick carves" are held throughout each day. This is when chainsaw carvers compete to carve something out of a log in a short amount of time, and then they are judged by the attendees. Also, the main auction will be held Sunday afternoon. Our largest crowd favorite is Ice Carving held Saturday and Sunday as carvers turn 300 pound blocks of ice into art. If your late you may only see a puddle! | ||
