8th Annual Snohomish Pumpkin Hurl Medieval Faire

Bookmark and Share
Location Everett
Dates September 12, 2015 - September 13, 2015
Description: Watch pumpkins fly & die and armored warriors battle it out! Trebuchets, air cannons and The Seattle Knights make appearances at this delightful 2-day event!

Can anyone beat Squash O' Fire? Contestant teams build and bring their very own pumpkin hurling machines (or "Trebuchets") to compete for the title: "Champion of the Northwest Regional Pumpkin Hurl." Only those that launch their ghastly gourds the farthest have a shot at winning!

Squash O' Fire and the other guys return on Sunday just for fun. Bring and demo your own chunkin' device right alongside, or get a chance to launch a pumpkin with our air cannon or mini trebuchets. New this year: come be dazzled by The Seattle Knights - the Pacific Northwest's premiere sword fighting and jousting theatrical troupe.

Stay & play in our medieval village filled to the brim with so many hands-on activities. Mock battles (for adults and kids!), artisans and entertainment too. Learn the rules of chivalry. Historical experts the Knights of Veritas share real relics and reveal true history. Costumes highly encouraged but not required. Tasty treats available in the court of foods. For adults only, sit & sip in our Local Liquid Arts tasting garden featuring wine, spirits and locally crafted brews!
