Welcome to Merrysville for the Holidays 2015! We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, Dec. 5, when families will step into a winter wonderland of holiday fun, food, music and a parade of Christmas lights.

The festival kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with the Electric Lights Parade featuring a flotilla of vehicles, floats and walking groups decked out in glistening holiday lights that will make their way along State Avenue starting at the Municipal Court, and arriving at the center of all the holiday action in Comeford Park, 514 Delta Ave.

After the parade, at about 7 p.m., the lighting of the water tower will officially welcome the start of the holiday season in Marysville. Live music will entertain the crowds with sounds of the season in the Rotary Pavilion from 7-7:30 p.m.

Be sure to bring a camera for photos with Sand and Mrs. Claus after the parade, and family holiday photo scenes staged throughout the park.

Donations of non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped gifts for the Marysville Community Food Bank will be accepted at the event. Donations will be distributed to families in need prior to the Christmas holiday.
