Celebrating our 43rd Year!
Chataqua in Chewelah is one of the oldest and longest running festivals in eastern Washington it swells Chewelahs population to from 40,000 to 60,000 people or more the second full weekend of July. The festival officially opens** on Friday and ends on Sunday evening. The fun-filled activities are designed to please every member of the family; young and old alike. Come and enjoy everything from carnival rides to a parade, food and merriment, free stage entertainment, sports and shoppingjust to name a few!
* Thursday, July 7th, is Chewelah Day with limited food and craft vendors
