On Saturday August 27, 2016 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm the 2016 Latin Arts Festival will join the festivities of the Hilltop Business District Street Fair The 2016 Latin Arts Festival Juried Art Show and Film Contest will take place at Centro Latino's office complex (1208 South 10th Avenue) and Peoples Park (900 South Martin Luther King Way), City of Tacoma. This family-oriented event will welcome Puget Sound area residents, state, national and international visitors to experience Latin culture and traditions of the Americas. Festival goers will not only enjoy participating in event activities but they will also have the opportunity to discover contemporary Latino Artists and Film producers, sample authentic Latin cuisine, purchase folk arts and crafts and view a flag procession of children dressed in native costumes representative of Caribbean, North, Central and South American regions.
