Description:

From Piketoberfest Website:

Celebrate the harvest season at PIKETOBERFEST a Beer, Charcuterie and Harvest Festival. This annual food and drink tasting event benefits the Pike Place Market Foundation. Featuring local meats, sauerkrauts, cheeses and more paired with craft beers, wines and spirits. Compare our regional food and drinks to their classic German counterparts and toast Piketoberfest with live music in Pike Brewings Microbrewery Museum and Brewery. PIKETOBERFEST is a 21+ event.

PIKETOBERFEST features locally brewed German and other styles of beer from Pike Brewing, Old Stove Brewing, Optimism Brewing, Stoup Brewing, Sumerian Brewing and Two Beers Brewing. Enjoy them alongside German craft biers, such as Ayinger and Pinkus, selected by Merchant Du Vin and Click.

Guests will be able to compare local craft spirits from Copperworks and Sidetrack distilleries with German liqueurs. Though beer comes to mind at Oktoberfest, Germany celebrates the harvest season with some of the worlds greatest ciders, meads and wines. Piketoberfest proudly presents tastes from Aesir Meadery, Portland Cider Co., Schilling Hard Cider, Seattle Cider and Sky River Mead.

Flavorful bites will be served by Alstadt, Bavarian Meats, Delicatus, The Confectional, Honest Biscuits, JarrBar, Salish Lodge & Spa, Oly Kraut, Pikes Pit BBQ, Chukar Cherries, Red Duck Foods, The Pike Pub, Ulis Famous Sausage and Willapa Hills Cheese.

There will be an abundance of extraordinary foods to sample, but it is important to remember that not all people are so fortunate to be able to enjoy this bounty of the season! For this reason, we team up with Pike Place Market Foundation to make PIKETOBERFEST an annual benefit for their medical services, low income housing, child care and other social services to people in need. The Pike Place Market neighborhood is rated as one of the countrys most livable and diverse, to a large part because of the work of The Market Foundation.
