Leavenworth loves winter, and each year on MLK Jr. weekend we celebrate winters bounty with IceFest! The village is still dressed in over half a million twinkling lights and this weekend is a flurry of frosty frivolity. Come celebrate winter with us!

Snow Sculptures Gather a team of six and register at 9am Saturday at the Gazebo to compete, or just enjoy our featured sculpture crafted by a family that has been coming to IceFest for 18 years! Limited to first 10 teams. Non-toxic coloring OK. Judging at 3pm; winners announced shortly thereafter. (Competition Saturday; sculptures are up Sunday)

IceFest Games & Activities The Great Frisbee Sweep! The Ice Cube Scramble! Snowball Toss! Ice Fishing! Bavarian Mug Relay! Smooshing! Ice Cube Tower Building! (Saturday, 11am-3pm; participants must register at the Gazebo, one registration fee (cash only!) covers participation in any/all games: Active duty military $0.01, adults 18+ $5, youth 11-17 $3, kids 6 and under are free)

Snowmobile Sled Pull Let our local boys, the Bavarian Boondockers, give you the sled ride of a lifetime behind a snowmobile! (Saturday 11am-3pm; $1.00 to ride, register at IceFest registration at the Gazebo)

Live Ice Carving Ice. Chainsaws. Art. Need we say more? (Live carving Saturday 12-3pm; sculptures up Sunday)

Stevens Pass Grom Playground Brand new this year! Stevens Pass comes to Leavenworths Front St Park to help all the little kiddos learn to ski/board, this little park contains fun features for kids 3-7 years to try while a certified snowsports school instructor guides them around.

Fireworks Well end the festivities Sunday evening at 6pm with a BANG! (Sunday, 6pm)
