The fourth annual Cider Swig celebration returns to Gig Harbor with over 90 ciders to sip, 5 live bands, award winning fare, bigger and better Kids Apple Zone, and more!

Come join us and get your swig on from 12:00 to 5:00 pm, Saturday, September 30th at the beautiful 98-acre Sehmel Homestead Park - the perfect setting to take in the last days of summer with family and friends, sit back and listen to music, launch some apples and have some serious cider sippin fun!

The fourth annual Greater Peninsula Cider Festival (a/k/a CIDER SWIG) is looking like another great day with 90+ regional ciders and an apple cider whiskey to boot.

Among participating cideries to be showcased at this year's event are returning favorites such as Alpenfire Cider, Finnriver Farm and Cidery, Nashi Orchards, Schilling Cider, Snowdrift Cider Co., Whitewood Cider, Tieton Ciderworks, Neigel Vintners Cider, Dragon's Head Cider, Reverend Nat's Hard Cider, Methow Valley Ciderhouse, Cockrell Hard Cider, Locust Cider, Rambling Route Cider, Sixknot Cider, Number 6 Cider, Washington Gold Hard Cider, Tilted Tree Cidery - and from Oregon 2Towns Ciderhouse (Corvallis), Wandering Aengus Ciderworks/Anthem Cider (Salem) -- as well as several Swig newcomers, like Bull Run Cider, Bushel and Barrel Ciderhouse, d's Wicked Cider, Elemental Hard Cider, Ole Swede Cider, Rootwood Cider and Spire Mountain Cider! And, our local Heritage Distilling Co. will again be serving up their Fall Classic Apple Cider Whiskey.

CIDER SWIG is an accessible, family-fun event. Admission is FREE to all festival areas, except the Cider Garden and Cider Sales Tent, where entrants must be 21+ to purchase a ticket (ID required).

The new and updated Apple Carnivale Kids Zone will have a variety of games and activities for kids of all ages, and a drop-off for children under 12. Operated by GGHF Curious by Nature School staff, the Kids Zone Drop-off is $5 per child/per hour. There will be cider-centric arts, demonstrations/talks/tips, and more by area experts. Accessible pathways will be present to ensure all can participate in this community event.
