Dates October 06, 2018 - October 07, 2018
Description:

From Salmon Days 2018 Website:

Salmon Days is a long standing family favorite. The Issaquah Salmon Hatchery is the heart of the event. 1000's of Salmon return home each fall to spawn in the Issaquah Creek. The hatchery offers free tours, and educational talks about our precious salmon. To support the educational and environmental outreach of the hatchery, Salmon Days has added attractions to make your visit worth the entire weekend!

The Kiwanis barbeque remains a perennial favorite, as does the Grande Parade, which typically features more than 100 entries, including floats, clowns, marching bands, equestrian entries, school groups, and dance teams. This year the festival reported over 50 food vendors representing foods from around the world and 300 juried arts and crafts vendors (and another 65 non-profit vendors). Entertainment abounds with 36 musical bands playing on three stages, a new Farmers Market with 30 produce booths, a family friendly entertainment and beer garden. Young attendees have tons of free activities in the Field of Fun including inflatables, free games, entertainment and Hamster Balls. A carnival opens early on Friday and operates into the evening hours both Saturday and Sunday at the far end of the show. Plus there is also a 5K run put on by the Rotary Sunday morning.
