Tickets to all events may be purchased at the WOGA tent in the Winthrop City Park Saturday & Sunday!

Friday, May 10
Ride to Rendezvous Wagon train arrives in downtown Winthrop. The Ride to Rendezvous riders and wagon train parades through Winthrop around noon on Friday the 10th.

Saturday, May 11
Parade through Downtown Winthrop - 11:00 AM

Watch as the longest pack strings in the state pass by!

There will be mules, horses, wagons, fun for all! This is just a small part of the HUGE '49er Day Parade!

Wounded Warriors

Washington Outfitters and Guides joined with Winthrop Chamber of Commerce and many private sponsors in hosting several wounded warriors on the Ride to Rendezvous.

We were honored to have them lead our '49er day parade as we went thru town on Saturday. These young men continue to serve our country as they work with newly returning wounded warriors. They will always be welcome at our campfire.

All Afternoon in the Winthrop City Park:

-Outfitter display camps
-Afternoon of entertainment with cowboy songs & poetry
-Music by the Washington Outfitter Pick Up Band
-Packing demonstrations
-Crafts & Merchandise vendors
-Western Auction

Outfitter Feast:
In the Winthrop City Park - 5:00 - 6:30 PM.

Join all the Outfitters in their display camp, for lots of back-country style cooking.

Featuring Cowboy Poetry, music & outfitter campfire stories.

Offering a variety of outfitted trips, art work, tack, Ride to Rendezvous Quilt, plus lots of miscellaneous items and FUN!

Packing Competition:
Winthrop City Park 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

The top professional packers in the state of Washington compete against each other for the title of "#1 Packer". Zac Ferrill was the 2018 winner of a beautiful hand carved silver knife. Slade Ginter received a beautiful belt buckle for second place. Watch the cowboys and cowgirls pack up all the gear and sling it on their favorite mules. Then it's on their horse and around the course! Contestants are judged on time and weights, as well as neatness.
